More and more Europeans support Argentina's claim over the Malvinas Islands.
This was revealed by a survey by international consulting firm YouGov.
According to this source, Spain is the country where this support has increased the most.
52% of Spaniards consider that the islands are Argentine, while in Italy, meanwhile, this percentage is 30%.
The poll also shows that 27% of the French support Argentina against 23% who support the United Kingdom.
In addition, says YouGov, 43% of the British lean towards the Argentine position or remain undecided on the territorial dispute.
Malvinas Issues Secretary Guillermo Carmona highlighted these numbers.
In the X network, he emphasized that "the efforts of raising awareness on this matter carried out by Buenos Aires" have not been in vain.
