Argentina's economy minister, Sergio Massa, announced tax benefits for wage earners.
He anticipated that salaries of up to 880,000 pesos a month, about 3600 dollars, will be exempt from the income tax on the annual bonus.
This is the additional, 13th salary that employees receive in Argentina, divided into two installments: one half in December and one half in June.
Due to the impact of inflation, which is around 100% per year, more and more salaries are reached by the income tax.
According to Massa, the exemption will benefit half a million workers.
